How I Earned $230 with Hubpages in 17 Days

About 2 months or so ago, I wrote this piece on how some folks out there have quietly been making money on the side by helping people on different sites. I thought I should post some of those sites here in case someone finds them useful and sign up as well.

So, it was nice to see that some people made the effort and signed up. Although new people are still signing up every time, but it has trickled down to just a couple of sign-ups per week since the post went up. As with most things online - the traffic shoots up in the first few days, and slowly level out over time.

However, I just logged onto Hubpages and realised that my posts on the site have made a total of $230 so far this month. This is great despite the fact that I have not logged in for a couple of months. Last month, I received $479 from Hubpages and Amazon. I have always wanted to pick up a shiny new iPad - I think now is the time to place an order for one. I like buying things with the passive income I make online - that way I can truly appreciate and separate that from my regular income.

It feels crazy that a few articles you write online can continue to bring in a decent passive income months after they were written. That shows that the future actually belongs to those who prepare for it today.

For those of you who love screenshot (I know I do) - here's a screenshot to give you an idea of what I mean.

It doesn't take much to sign up and start posting. Within weeks you could be seeing how your hub - as they are know - is performing. The trick is to make quick successive posts within days and link them together...that way your readers will click through on those pages, which will push at least one of your hubpages onto the home page. For me, it took just days to post 10 articles in quick succession and that was all I did.

Now you know the trick - 10 articles and a couple on months later, the pages are going unbelievably well.
